How To Make Your Own Job Order Form

Instead of discussing with you the detailed procedures of laundry, i will tackle the method of making your own Job Order Form.

Preparation of this form is usually the result of your research on competition.

Steps In Making Your J.O.
1. Know how much your competitors are charging their customers
2. Study their rates
3. Learn their market

As an example, let us assume the following;

Competitor A :
  • Maong is P35 per kilo
  • Comforter P150 per kilo
  • Curtains/Blanket/Bedsheets P50 per kilo
  • Regular P25 per kilo WDF
  • WDP P50 per kilo
  • Dry Clean P150 per piece
Competitor B:
  • Regular (except Comforter) P25
  • Comforter P50 per kilo
  • Regular P25 per kilo WDF
  • WDP P50 per kilo
  • Dry Clean P150 per piece
Being the owner you decided on the following:
  • WDF                 P25 per kilo
  • WDP                 P50 per kilo
  • Dry Cleaning      P150 per piece
  • Comforter          P50 per kilo
WDF means Wash Dry Fold - using our example, you will charge P25 per kilo regardless of what kind of fabric you will be working on, except comforter.

WDP is Wash Dry Press - you simply charge double the WDF

For the comforter you charge a little higher from the rest which is P50 per kilo.

This is what it should be like on your J.O.

                                          Price           Actual Wt/Pc          Amount
WDF                                   25
WDP                                   50
Comforter                            50
Dry clean                           150

Total Amount

That's all for today.
